Spring Creek, Centre County 4/21/2009

I fished the awesome Spring Creek for the first time on Tuesday 4/21. I was able to catch 2. One on an BWO emerger and the other on a matuka. Being very inexperienced at fly fishing, I was having a wonderful time. One was 12" and the other was 10". Very good fighters. The little rain shower in the afternoon probably put down most of the bugs but there were a lot of cream midges. Earlier before the rain there were tan caddis and olives around. Cannot wait to go back to this wonderful stream!!
