Was up on a college tour of Penn State with my daughter. Made it over to Spring Creek for a couple of hours with my son afterwards.
Conditions were awesome when we went out from 2-4. A cold front had just blown thru the night before. This afternoon was sunny and 60 degrees. Water was at normal color and height with temps about 56 degrees.
Sporadic caddis were coming off in the afternoon and a few small BWO mayflies. Worked on a couple of rises, but no luck with dries. Nymph fished the rest of the time and several strikes with a Walt's Worm.
Really a gorgeous day. My son was a little bored as not catching much so he took some pictures.
I left a PAFF Euro Sticker on the sign for the next angler in the lower parker lot next to the handicap spot.
