Felt like it was opening day, people everywhere, but eventually found some real estate on Rock rd for 3 of us and set into some fish. Tons of takes, only put 5 to the net in an hour or two. One of those mornings. Got into a few more later on in the afternoon, switch spots again and landed a few more, including some nice rainbows and had a big one snap me off at the net. Nymphing all day, we put 25 fish in the net and lost over than many between the three of us. Pretty good action all day. Water was colored about right, overcast, water was mid 40s with warm air. Saw BWO in the morning and a few sippers, and grannoms but not too many risers in the afternoon. Great fishing right now, get out while you can.
