Fished the Benner Springs section Friday morning.....arrived at the stream around 10am. Air temps were in the high 30's. Didn't get a stream temp but it was chilly wading. No insects or fish rising, and the water was really low and clear. Nymphed walts worm, pt's and cress bugs. Took 4 health browns with one being a colorful 14 incher, all took a small 18 cress bug fished tandem. Can't get any better than being on stream in mid Dec.
