Had a good trip up to spring creek, water was in decent shape. Air temp was 34 when I started. Ended up catching 10 and missed at least that money swinging some wets up on spring. #14 soft hackles seemed to be the best bet. Usually nymph in the winter but wanted to see if they would still be productive and they were. No monsters just a decent day on spring for the month of January. Fished it on Friday with Dave and landed about a dozen that day with plenty of misses as well.
