Fished Tuesday and Thursday of this week, water is low but temps are in good shape, good trico hatches both days.

On tuesday I didn't land a fish on tricos missed abunch and had a few hooked...darn little flies. On Thursday I landed 3 with a male trico spinner#24 and missed a bunch again.

Did well with a Crowe beetle #12 on both days before and after the hatch.

Paul, I have never found many fish working Tricos on Spring, mind giving me a hint about the general area you were fishing?

I usually fish from from below the paradise to the 550 bridge. On tuesday the two places I fished had good spinner falls, I talked to a couple of guys in that same area that said it wasn't that good where they were. I guess you just have to be in the right spot.

On Thurs I fished down at Milesburg, the hatch wasn't as good as Tuesday but did have fish rising. Before and after the hatch try using big black beetles, works for me!

Thanks, Paul. I'll do some hard scouting for spinner swarms next Thursday when I'm up and see if I can find some good spots. I've usually looked a bit farther downstream, and tried near Milesburg once with no luck at all, so you've given me something new to consider. Tight lines,
