Fished Spring Creek near Benner on Friday night and then again Saturday morning. Didn't take a temperature but I would imagine was in the low 60's. Friday night there was a great variety of hatches coming off. Saw a good number of craneflies, tan caddis and what looked like some olives right before dark with a large amount of rising fish. Saturday morning was pretty much a dud, a few sporatic tricos coming off with no real risers, saw a few crane flies as well. Fishing was quite well though with 6-8 to the net on Friday night and then 8-10 in the net on Saturday morning. Almost all the fish came on Al's Rats in size 22 which was fished under combinations of Scuds/Micro Pheasant Tails and Zebra Midges. The parking lot there was a total mess with mud as well.
