Arrived around 10:30am and it was sunny all day. The water was a bit off color and up a bit, but completely fishable.

Fished the Benner Springs section from arrival to about 3pm. Caught 3 in this section 2 on Walt's Worms and another on a Sexy Walt's Worm.

I forgot my net and have been planning to buy a net. I ended up landing a 15 incher as my second fish and he ended up flopping away before I could snap a picture (of course, always the big one).

Anyway, after fishing the Benner Springs section I went and got something to eat and stopped and got a new net.

After eating and getting a net I headed to the Fisherman's Paradise and fished up from Fisherman's Paradise. Flipped rocks and was seeing a bunch of olive mayfly nymphs and I found a nice stonefly.

I put on an olive hare's ear and kept a Walt's Worm on and caught 4 in this section all on the olive hare's ear.

Missed a few fish throughout the day as well (brief hook ups).

All in all it was a good day. Here are some pictures with descriptions:

Nice fish pics! I was thinking of hitting the State College are this coming weekend if we don't get too much rain.

Yeah, probably heading out to central PA every weekend now for the next few months. Opening day here in SW PA is not looking too good this weekend anyway, calling for thunderstorms and rain.
