Fish Spring from about 8:30 -- 3:30.
Day started slow and the water was cold, even though it was sunny.
When the water started to warm I started catching fish on small midge larve.
Met up with some friends who convinced me to switch to dries and started catching rising fish on a BWO (16).
Every fish that came to the top hit the BWO on the first good drift.
The fish had to see the flie drift in to hit it, no reaction strikes.
Hatches: Midges, BWO, Blue Dun, early black stones.
