Arrived at 10:30 and fish untill 2:30.

Air temps in the mid 40's and didn't record water temp. Very sunny day (actually got sun burnt on my hands).

Typical flows and relatively clear water. Minimal snow still on the ground.

Tons of midges in the air with fish, even large fish feeding consistantly at the surface, many near the bank.

BWO's starting hatching around 1:00, but very sporatic and wind picked up, limitting a true hatch.

Fish were stacked together, and at one point saw 7 fish rise at the same time within a 10' radius.

Caught fish on sz.14 olive scud (1st time every with success w/ scuds) and dark midge pupa.

All fish caught but 1 were over 12" with the largest being 17" (pictured).

I lost my only 2 olive scuds, and the combination of snow melt, fishing slowed around 1:30.

I was at Spring on Sat. I'll confirm your report, fish feeding on midges and feeding on BWO while they hatched. Great day to be out.
