Got out every day for the past few on Spring Creek between Paradise and Benner Springs. Water temps low 50's. On the weekend it was crowded, so I made sure to walk a ways to find some open water. Friday and Monday were by far the most productive days. Although there were lots of bugs coming off, they were so tiny, so I stayed under with olive scubs and PT's mostly. Got a lot of nice fish in deeper pools and riffles. My buddy even got a couple on sucker spawn, including a nice 20" sucker (which he thought was a trout for a good while).

Hatches: Some guys I talked to were getting fish on top with small cream midges, but I found fish were just as active underneath.

Overall, fishing was really good.

Nice post wcflyfish, I got out today from 11am-3pm. Found a few fish taking BWO's and managed to hook 2 of them. Most of my luck came underneath with an assortment of nymph's. Fished the riffles hard and picked up a few nice brown's and 1 rainbow. The BWO never came off heavy, I'm thinking I was a bit too late to fish this hatch at it's heaviest this year. Other angler's were sparse today which was nice, felt like I had the whole stream to myself! I know I haven't fished Spring in March and had it that low in a long time. I did stop at a slow pool before I left and noticed fish sipping on those cream midges.
