Spent some time at Benner's on Tue, 3/15, from the Rockview cutoff upstream about 1/2 mile. Didn't have thermo with me, but water was cold, off color (but fishable) and running fast and hard. Spent most of the time trying to hit pockets by the bank. I didn't have a bump all day, after trying muddlers, egg patterns and a 20 BH pheasant tail.
Jumped over to FFP and picked up two (one small native) on the 20 PT nymph. Didn't talk with anyone that was having much of a day.
Few midges coming off + maybe a BWO or two, but saw zero surface activity.
