Fished from 10-2.

Water was on high side but good visibility. Didn’t get a temp but there seemed to be a little more snow melt than Sunday.

Slow fishing. One sucker on a nymph. Numphed and streamer fished hard a few runs but nothing. After a few hours lazily sat and walked and watched. Very few bugs. No surface activity.

Still- it was a nice day to get out. There is rain on the way and suspect fishing will be blown with the rain and snowmelt for a week so had to take advantage.

Some guys out but not a lot. Not my first skunking of 2019 but it won’t be my last.

Wonder if this rainy pattern will continue this year.

1 and half to two hours depending on the number of sheetz stops- but I have zero regrets. Today I watched rain all day and for an hour or two it poured. There will be no fishing for awhile.

Forgot to mention - got a decent amount of algae on my point fly and as I was sitting on a rock with a small eddy thought I saw a shuck of a fly. I guess it made another float by when I put my hand out to catch it and once it was in my hand I saw it was a fly- small midge pattern. I was astonished- it was so tiny. Hah. Fly fishing.
