Headed to Spring Cr yesterday heard from the weatherman that it was going to be a 50ish degree day and of coarse he lied again. But one thing for sure it did rain most of the day so he was half right. Temp was in mid 40's with off and on rain most of the day, water temp was 46 degrees and a few gray midges, flow was perfect but clouded up late afternoon. Fished a couple different sections fished seemed to be a little slow on the takes. But it was nice to get on the water and put my new wet fly boo rod to the test on a few browns. Landed 9 and missed just as many. It was really odd just seeing one car in the parking lot which was mine at the Canyon section you wont see that lot empty to often. All in all it was decent day. Looks like it will take a couple days for the the water to clear, as I was heading home I hit hard rain outside State College.
