Spring Creek Centre co. 11/09/09

A few tiny BWO's hatching and the Brown Caddis had a couple jumping completely out of the water. Beautiful day at 68 degrees. Caught about a 16" rainbow on the fourth or fifth cast on a hopper, and the rest on scuds.
The ones a 23 1/2" male from the same spot I caught the big female at with Paul G about a month ago. The ones a 19" brownie with a very long head, along with some others. What a day, see for yourself and get up there.

Wow...of course when I planned a trip up there this year, little did I know it was the weekend of the Fly Fishing Championship and everything was blown out. Beautiful fish!

I’m pretty sure I caught that same 19” brown the other day, I would have called him 20” though you’re probably right because I didn’t tape him. The snout/nose area looks very similar although we are looking at different sides of the fish, pretty sure but let’s see what you think. Just posted the picture in the photo section. I think I saw that rainbow too, he had bad intentions for my streamer but I couldn’t connect, well done and nice fish.

I never noticed you were from Ohio. Lodging SHOULD be taken care of at a cabin up there if needed, but it is hunting season and that takes presidence with the owner.
