Follow-Up: 3-22: Lovely weather but gusty. Very few, as in nearly no olives today. I've seen this before. In my experience, it's more common than not. It's like the creek blows it's load on olives one day. Then the next, there just aren't any ripe olive ready to hatch. Likewise, the fish were not very responsive. I've never had a good day when wind gusts are slapping the water's surface making those little choppy riffles on smooth sections. In my experience, the next day the area gets nice mild weather after this cold snap, it should be really good again. The water was nearly perfect, if a little on the clear side, actually.
