spring creek 2/28/10

fishing was tough , it misted snow today making the dry fly situation almost non existent. a few sporadic BWO were coming off but nothing for the trout to get interested in though , BWO nymphs and cress bugs worked well and so did streamers. water temp on my them. said 42 degees at 11:30 , not bad , better days ahead ,

i was going to make the trip today but im glad i didnt after reading your post. id say 2 or 3 weeks, spring creek should be pretty good.

yeah if we get the weather this weekend they are talking about , the BWO should be coming off and of course midges .(mid to upper fortys) end of march would be a good time.
