It was back into the canyon section to fish some water that I didn't chance to fish the last time I was there. Man what a great fall day to be on the water. Arrived at the parking area at 7:30am 3 cars in the lot,not surprising. A cool 42 degrees with clear skies. Water temp 52 and the flow looked great. Air temp hit 62 by mid afternoon. Fished from the canyon bridge (2nd bridge down from Benner hatchery) down to the old hatchery. Water looked excellent in those sections,was suprised to see how the stream widened out down there. Works good for me for casting a long line swing wets. Few midges and tan caddis's, did not see a single fish rise and no fisherman. Fish are deffinitly on the redds there now. Seen half doz fish paired up at the end of some medium flow runs. It fished every bit as good as I thought it would. Here's a few pic's of some sights and fish. Looking forward to fishing it again.
