I fished where a small Class A entered into Indian Run in South west PA this morning from 9 till 1045. Water was in the upper 60's though caugh chubs in Indian. Worked up to where the Class A entered and caught several rainbows. I believe these fish were native as I caught a few dinks. Missed a monster on a humpy. Caught them on Royal Coachmen. Threw the zoo cougar into a deep hole hoping for a hog. Missed a bunch of takes and lost the fly on a rock :0(
Worked about 200 yards up the class A and didn't even spook a fish. Didn't take a temp but the water was COLD. Lucky I had the jeep cause I had to do some rock crawling to get down to the stream. I am batting 2 for 2 in finding small productive water in my area this month. I know that you guys want more info on here. I think I gave enough to let somebody find this water with out P-ing off you kiss and tell guys. If you want specifics PM me. I am encouraged cause I was having really bad luck for a while finding native fish in my area.
