I fished Slate for an a couple hours Sunday afternoon. It was rippin pretty good. Alot of white water but fishable. Insect activity: Yellow stones, Hendricksons and a few caddis and tons of midges swarming near the surface. I managed a couple of browns on a beadhead stonefly one being a 14" beauty.

I need to get back to Slate and Cedar. It's been over two years since i was u p there. I caught my first trout on a fly in the Francis Branch over 30 years ago.
