I Fished Slate Run on Wednesday from 12:00 to 3:00. The water was high but very clear. This was my first time there, but it was obvious that the water was high. In the section that I fished, I couldn't find any flat water. All the areas that are usually pools were riffles, and the areas that are normally riffles were torrents. The weather was cloudy with occasional showers. The air temp was in the sixties, and I didn't take a water temp. I didn't catch any fish and didn't see any rising fish. Some blue quills, quill gordens, and caddis were hatching. I used nymphs the whole time. I posted some photos on the photo page.

Thanks for the report. I just want to note that in a very brief and readable manner, you conveyed useful information for both present and future use of your fellow anglers. This is what the Stream Reports Forum was intended to be.

I was up that way over the last weekend and the water temps were hovering around 40- 42 degrees.
