Fished Slate Run morning of 9/13/06
Weather Cloudy - Rain
Water Temp 57 deg
Water Level - Higher than Normal
Water Clarity - Clear
Fished lower reaches of Slate Run in the morning. Saw no hatches (but maybe due to persistant rain).
Caught no fish, no strikes.
Flies used:
Parachute Adams
Wooly Bugger Black
Pheasant Tail Nymph
Green Weenie
Streamers
Slate Run Tackle Shop told me other anglers had better success, but none on the day I was on the stream. No other anglers were nearby which added to the enjoyment!
