Hit the Skippack across from the golf course today from 3:30-5. A lot of bait fisherman walking up and down the creek didn't see anyone really catching anything. Ended up with 2 rainbows on size a size 16 beadhead copper john. Also caught 2 rockbass and probably missed 3-4 fish. There was a good rise on what appeared to be on small caddis' as well. Overall a really nice day to get out and always fun as a newbie to catch a few fish.

Nice going kyle. I thought i seen what might of been you around 6:30 but i guess that wasnt you.

Wasn't me unfortunatly I didn't have a lot of time to fish tonight. How did you make out tonight?

I started off in the park off level road. Picked up about 10 there in half an hour. One was a real nice brookie.

THen i moved over off skippack creek road, and fished right across from the parking lot, and there was tons of activity. Ended up landing 10-15 in the hour and missing another 10 or so.

Size 16 black/grey buggy nymphs under an indicator twitched and swam was effective.

i got a big brookie out of there today too- wondering if they are from SCA or just mixed in with the state stocking. lots of fish everywhere and got two goldens, so I got rainbows, browns, brook, and goldens. lots of surface activity by the course, everywhere else I was striping or dead drifting nymphs., timed it perfectly to end the day as the rain started. Also - watch for the geese!

Awesome skilitonian, Trifecta! What specific flies did you fool them with, common nymphs and midges? Did they hapen to be on the smaller size?
