This XL Simms G4 Pro Gore Tex rain jacket has been hanging in my closet ever since I bought it several years ago and I think I only wore it once or twice, so it is in like-new condition (or very close to new). This jacket has some design features that are different from today’s Simms G4 Pro jackets which retail for $750.00 - some fly fishermen claim that the older G4’s are better, but I do not know whether or not that’s the case - but I’ll sell you mine for $300.00, picked up in New Holland, PA, or I’ll ship it to you in the US for $10.00, paid by PayPal.
This jacket has many features that you will not find on many other rain jackets. In addition to the 3 layer Gore Tex jacket itself, all of the zippered pockets that are directly exposed to the weather have waterproof zippers. There are adjustable tighteners on the hood and on the bottom of the jacket, and adjustable velcro on the sleeve cuffs. It has numerous pockets on the front, back and inside, including built in retractors inside both breast pockets, and a ring holder for your net on the back. It even has waterproof zippers under each arm that you can open for ventilation if you wish to do so. (See the enclosed pictures)
