Shenango River, Mercer County, 8-14-2011

Fished the Shenango in Sharpsville today from around 11:15 to 2:30 with a break for lunch. It was at a good level as always and I mananged 18 fish, all bass except for 1 bluegill. Bass averaged 8-10 inches with one around 12. All fish caught on either a black or white bugger. I did see 3 other people fly fishing, was it anyone on here?

It was a size 10 conehead but without hackle so i guess its not exactly a wooly bugger.
 
Streamer, did you measure that last fish? Looks bigger than 12. Maybe it's an optical illusion or something with the photography but I'd say more like 14 or so. Nice report, gotta love bronzebacks!
 
No I didn't measure him, it seemed like it was 12-13 at the time but the more I look at the pic it may be 14, I think its a little of an illusion though. It fought like it was 20in!
