Fished Shaeffer Run in Fowers Holler state park yesterday morning for about an hour before the snow and cold sent me packing. Water was clear and a good level, no hatch visible. Managed one 4” brookie with a # 16 bead head Walt’s Worm and a couple misses with a #12 Bugger. Beautiful place and stream.
We did some grouse hunting there earlier and got into a lot of ticks, none yesterday
