Managed to get out in the afternoon for a couple hours. It was my first time fishing specifically for warm water fish this year and seemed to be my best bet with the water being so low. I fished some new water around Limerick/Royersofrd and did some sight fishing. Not a whole lot of fish in the river, but the fish I spotted were definately hungry. They eagerly ate a large olive and yellow bugger. Even the sunfish got in on the action when I decided to do some blind casting. Ended up with a few bass... all under a foot... and several sunfish. Found some very nice riffles and holding water, but it didn't produce. All fish were caught in slow, structureless water.

Did all my fishing on the Montgomery/Chester County border. Specifically the Limerick-Royersford area.

I experienced the same thing a few weeks ago in that area. No fish caught in moving water or under trees as normally, rather all were caught in pools with little flow. Since the water level was down, I was able to cover a lot of area, but the result was the same...... this was on a very overcast day.
