Air temp: upper 20's-upper 30's
Water temp: 40-42
Flow: 115 cfs
Had two days on the Savage, started around 11:30 each day and finished around 4:30. The river was in great shape. Saw redds in some of the slower pools but didn't see any fish on them. A couple of the bigger fish looked like they had already spawned. There were a few midges flying around but no rising fish. Most of the fish were caught in the soft pockets next to fast moving. Lots of different patterns caught fish, black bugger, pheasant tail, midges but eggs were the most popular. The river was pretty empty, did see one angler today.
