Hours Fished: 0800-1300
Air Temp: 19*F- 30*F
Moderate Intermittent Winds
Water Temp: Forgot my stream thermometer, but the water felt balmy compared to the air temps

Fished the Trophy Trout stretch

Attempting to teach myself European Nymphing techniques.

Managed two to hand, including a strong fighting 14" Brown (Felt great on my 10ft 3 wt.
Missed several others while attempting to "read" my sighter, and acheive a proper drift in the wind.

Both my scud, and midge pattern produced. I did see some suface activity, appearing to be small midges when the sun started to warm things up.

All and all, a pretty enjoyable day on the water, despite icy fingers and somewhat windy conditions.

Nice report... Beautiful head shot on that brown, it never gets old looking at the color variations on wild Browns.

Nice. Helluva place to pick to teach your yourself high Euro nymphing. Kudos.
