Beautiful day to be out and of course, I wasn't the only one thinking that. I arrived at the old metal bridge at 12:30 to find 2 gentlemen there and looking at the water. We talked for a bit and then went our own ways. I went upstream and they fished around the bridge. I fished for about hour or so with no luck on nymphs and saw no fish rising to midges either. I hiked back to find the 2 guys sitting on the bench chatting away. Not sure how they did because I did not ask. Got to my car to find 3 more cars there (all from NJ). I decided to try a different spot on the stream because I had to leave at 3:30 so I just needed to hit and run. I went up in the park and found no one else fishing there. I was able to entice a gorgeous brown (pic attached) and 2 other smaller browns on a 22 Griffith's Gnat. All 3 were rising and all 3 were also jumpers and I so love jumping browns. I do love this stream and I really don't think the floods changed it all that much but not having a TU chapter is taking its toll though. Stream is widening in areas where it can't afford it. It really needs some work upstream from the bridge.

I was one of the guys sitting on the bench as I am every weekend. Great hatch of olives came off about 2 pm. Nice fish.

I have spent many cold winter days sitting on that bench drinking coffee watching for risers. Nice fish. Were either of you down to see the spill area? Also did either of you notice fish on redds?

Did not go down to spill area and did not see any fish on redds but I saw what I thought were redds, just no fish still on them.
