After striking out on Tionesta Creek I made the short drive to Salmon Creek. There was no insect activity, although I did see a coffin fly struggling in a spider web. Water temp was 64 degrees. Air temp was in the 80s. I fished 2 different sections of Salmon Creek about 3-4 miles apart and caught trout in both. I used streamers and got 9 Brook and 3 Brown. Lots of people on the stream and in the afternoon some families were swimming in the larger holes. Water was clear and on the lower side. I fished from 9am to 3pm.
