I'm all for using your judgment when posting about small wild trout streams, especially those running through private property. But Roaring Run is in the middle of a State Forest and is open to the public. Further, it is designated as a Wilderness Trout Stream for fishing by the PFBC. I see no problem whatsoever posting a stream report and pics from the stream by Jack & Alby. I do not believe for a second that there was any spitefulness intended from either one of them. Sharing our streams with fellow anglers is part of the experience of fishing...like it or not.

In your post above you said, "My grandfather lives downstream of the hiking trail (and) every time I'm at his cottage, I look out to see people enjoying the resource." The sentence should stop there. Even if you Grandfather is a descendant of William Penn, no one can lay claim to this stream.

No disrespect intended to you or even your opinion, since I share your concerns about burning spots, but not in this case.

BTW, Alby is a ringer, but Jack is a hack when it comes to FFing...if he can catch 'em, you should have no problem at all!... ;-)

steve, maybe you should wake up earlier and get on the water first! that's what I do on streams I know are popular, I'll leave my house and be parked before sun up and hiking in just as it gets light. then brag to all the other anglers about how many you caught as you hike back out.

BTW, jack really gets around!!
