Like new 11' #3 Euro rod. Listed at $340. I used this rod one time. Virtually a new rod with no blemishes. Four piece, light green glossy blank. Two stripper guides, accent wraps at each ferrule, unlock reel seat with fixed cork butt, clean & un pitted Full Wells cork handle, nice wood barrel, green flannel sock, hard case. $200 will deliver locally or ship anywhere for postage.

I'm curious why you are selling it after fishing it one time. I am considering a Risen 23PS fly rod but not that model. Are you dissatisfied with the performance or quality of that rod.

Not at all. I got it as a gift. I'm primarily a dry fly guy to rising fish. I'm unable to wade and to nymph effectively one needs to be wading.

I'm 67 and still wading, but it's becoming more challenging. I'll give you $175 for it and if god willing provide it a few years of good use. If that is suitable, I'm less than an hour from York and could pick it up.

Okay, that sounds like a plan. When would you like to come for the rod?

You ever try to euro off your drift boat? With a good oarsman you can pick up some solid fish between dry fly hatches up on the Big D.

Interesting comment. Actually the one time I used the rod my buddy & I were in the Hyde up on the WB just below where it starts. We were killing time waiting for fish to rise and I strung up that 11' rod. On the very first cast I caught a dink about 10". We laughed about it and I paid more attention to it. A few casts later I had a solid take and the rod bent nicely. A few minutes later my buddy slid the net under a 19" brown. After that fish started to rise and I never made another cast.
