What a beautiful day!I Cut out of work early and started fishing around 2:30.Quite a few anglers so I fished downstream searching for some holdovers, caught 1 10" rainbow stripping a black crystal bugger.I moved up stream and after little sucess with the usual nymphs,I put on a chartruse egg pattern, landed 2 browns 10" and 8".(both from the recent stocking).I missed many fish,I need to work on my hook setting skills.
I only saw a few risers right at sunset.
I tried to catch a small palimino that was stocked it chased everything i threw, but wouldn't hit squat.

I was there today to Mike I caught five in a half hour all on Buggers I had to stop early because the fith one was a 19" Rainbow and any fish after that would be a guppy to me. I seen alot of rises to black stone flies the last few days and those things must love the back of neck because I must of pulled one off me about every 15 minutes. Yesterday was my best day ever for trout on the fly rod I caught 14 in 2 hours not to bad for someone that started Fly Fishing in the end of Jully last year.......... I got some pics of the rainbow will try to post latter.... 😛int: :hammer:
