Fished from about 9:30am until about 12:30pm. There are definitely alot of fish holding in the Ridley FFO section, tons of bows everywhere. I hooked one right off the bat on a San Juan Worm fishing the pool in front of the main lot, but he broke off. Broke another one off under the bridge on a Bow River Bugger. Landed two upstream in the riffles on the Bow River Bugger and landed one on a midge larvae down past the bridge in front of the little parking lot there. Had alot of bites on little black and brown stonefly patterns but couldn't get the hook set in time.
Water felt pretty cold and the wind was blowing really strong at times. There were a few other guys fishing throughout the morning.
The riffle area is filled with fish, as is the slow pool in front of the smaller lot below the bridge. The takes are really sluggish so if your fly or indicator moves at all, snap the line back and hook the fish or else they will shake free.
