Fished Ridley Creek on Friday for a couple of hours. Beautiful afternoon, good water flow and water was cooler than expected. Caught 6 trout and 3 sunnies. Had a double hook up on a tandem rig. First time ever. Fished mainly nymphs and midges. 5 out of the 6 trout fell to a black Zebra midge size 22. Broke off one fish 16" plus. Great couple of hours on a stream I never fished before. I did not see any sulphurs. I did see small cream midges popping off the whole time I was there.

Also had the pleasure of stopping into the The Sporting Gentleman. Nice shop, nice folks.

I was on Chester Ck (work-related) on Friday afternoon and saw numerous, very active stocked trout remaining in the Darlington Rd area and downstream toward the trestles. If that was any indication, the I season stocked trout were not heavily fished over, just as the angler count indicated. Recommend that you give this stream a try between Lenni and forge Rd.
