Fished the FFO section of Ridley this afternoon from 2-6. Managed one brown on a black zonker sz12 and missed one more on a size 18 tan caddis pupa. Water was low, slow, and clear. Saw one or two other fish but it seems this stream has really fallen dead for the summer. I know it always holds a few over the season but the change in just a few weeks is very obvious.
Side note, the storms early this spring did a number to this creek, lots of fallen trees and debris, doesnt seem to be much management by the state park?
