Got the stream mid morning; it was running high and fairly muddy. (54 deg.) Mixed sun and clouds, and it did get windy. Started in the fly stretch where I rolled a couple, and decided to try the faster water above the dam, figuring the higher I went the clearer it would be. Walked above the handicap ramp where there were two chebbs fishing it. Neither appeared to be impaired except maybe mentally. Started with a bright BH caddis pupa, and didn't change it for a long time. Picked a couple out of the first run, and quickly realized they wanted motion. Fished a lot of pocket water and was catching fish pretty steadily, though usually one or two per run. I finally walked around the spin fisherman that was working his way in front of me. The next run I hooked five or six and landed three, and did even better as I moved upstream. When the tan caddis stated showing I switched to my pet pupa, and it was brutal. Drift with real short twitches was deadly. Saw black stoneflies as well. In shor,t it was a banner day for nymphing, with good numbers of fish still remaining. Too bad the stocking truck rolled in about 2:30, and with it the chebb brigade. I put on a black leech and hooked (loosing most) a bunch, but it just wasn't very satisfying. Lasted maybe an hour before calling it quits Kept a 15''plus brown for our dinner and called it quits.

These were taken the following day; I'm really checking to see if my photos come up.

This darn fish keeps popping up. Mary at the Sporting Gentleman spotted it as a holdover before I even asked:

Thanks to Jay L and Mute!

Thanks mute; the toughest thing for me to do sometimes (especially when they are biting) is to just chill and pull out the camera. I usually keep mine in a Zip lock sandwich bag for protection. Although, my computer skills are lacking compared to most; I'm starting to really did photo editing.
