Fished Ridley today from approximately 3:30 till 6:30. Water was a bit muddy, presumably from all the meltwater, but not too bad. Clear enough to see some big ones under the bridge that refused to come off the bottom.

After a very slow start, ended up landing 9.

My first time at Ridley, so I can't refer to spots in too much detail. Landed 5 of the 9 in the pools directly in front of the dam/falls. 3 more in pool about 20 yards downstream from the falls. Netted the last one along the far bank just above the bridge.

Took everything on a bead head of some sort. 4 on a bead head prince, 2 on a bead head hares ear (both size 14), and 3 on a bead head olive bugger with a good deal of flash to it.

Fish seemed happy to take almost anything with something bright/flashy to catch their eye.
