Fished mid morning to mid afternoon; mixed sun and clouds. Air was mid 40's to mid 50's; creek was dead clear and low, no real hatches except some midges.

Parked at Gradyville bridge and fished down into the main park seeing about nothing and not even catching in traditional good spots. Started seeing people right as I got to the recently stocked areas and started catching fish pretty easily; though I rolled and missed way more than I caught.

Caught three or four on my pet caddis pupa (14), but the big surprise was the best producer by far was a no. 16 bh soft hackle, my take on a pheasant tail. Had a nice hike and caught several Browns, a couple Rainbows and one Brook. Fishing 5x under an indicator, mostly to facilitate a good drift. Also, the hits were very light for the most part. We really need rain!

I fished above Gradyville Rd on 4/14 and 4/15 for a couple hours ended with 10 on 4/14 and 8 today. Mix of brook, brown and rainbows. Biggest was a 16” Brown. Used a zebra midge under an indicator on 5x.
