Made the trek back to the trout nirvana of Boyer Run. Found good flows and eager brookies. This trip I concentrated on the west branch. The elk hair caddis was da bomb. Had a great day with some wonderful scenery.

Where is a good spot to access Boyer Run. Is any of it Posted?

I can't find Boyer Run on any maps. Where is it? Where is the nearest town or major intersection.

I have a feeling "Boyer Run" is a made up name to throw ya off the trail....

Mechanicsburg, I believe, is in the center of the state... so go 250 miles in any direction and somewhere in there you may find the famous "boyer run" lol.

Very nice pics!

Thanks for the very valuable information. I guess I'm a little slow and did not feel my wading boot being tugged. Great pictures though!

Wish they were mine.

I thought Boyer Run was BFO?

.......bait fishing only 😉

Beautiful trout from "Boyer." The top fish looks like it may be a stockie(?) but regardless - they're mighty nice looking fish. The red fins on a couple of them are just striking.

It's been a few months since I got up that way and I am officially jealous. I gotta get home sometime soon, but with the new job and salmon fishing in a couple weeks, time has been tough. Incidentally, this creek is very heavily stocked and from April through June is crowded with meat hunters. Sometimes nature pulls through regardless of circumstance. Nice to at least see some pics.

Sorry for the Subterfuge, because of its location I didn't want to give specifics. I think most of you know where this is. As Matt told me this is his stream and I am a trespasser LOL.

Be careful of the information you get from Matt! It's accurate and helpful. He must have skipped the lying fisherman gene!!!
