Red Fox Pelt - Free

I’ve had this tanned Red Fox pelt for many years, and have cut off some of it to make dubbing for tying a variety of flies, but there’s still enough to tie a couple more lifetimes of flies for anyone who might be interested in having it.

Fox fur makes a very nice, easy to use, dubbing for a variety of fly patterns. It also takes dye well if you’d want to do that. (I’ve dyed some yellow and orange and other colors, for example.)

This fox is proving harder to give away than I thought it would be. So, how about if I include another 15 or so other pieces of fur with it?

I have no idea where I got many of these, how long I’ve had them, or even what kind of animals some of them came from. They are all clean, dried and/or tanned, and a couple are also dyed.

These will include:

A nice piece of mink fur. (I do know where this came from - it came from my wifes grandmother’s mink coat.😃)
There are several pieces of rabbit fur and hare’s ear pieces (not the full mask) including a couple pieces that may have been dyed with picric acid, or something similar something, and there’s a small piece of white rabbit fur.
There are 2 small, but nice, pieces of muskrat fur.
There are 2 tails of some kind of animal - one is black (bear maybe?) and the other is a dark ivory color.

Last, there are a couple other pieces of ? fur.

As I said before, you can pick all of this up in New Holland, or I’ll ship it (in the US only) for $10.00.
