Same here. Hoping. I haven't seen Oil Creek below 50 cfs in the time I've been watching it. It's like 25 cfs now. Yikes!

Salmon River lower catch and release only area closed till at least Oct 30.
Dry as a bone up here in Erie.
Leaves are changing quite rapidly up here.
Hunting season looks real good with the Sundays added for all seasons but spring turkey.

Be aware that State Parks have just three specific Sundays open to hunting, not every Sunday.

True, but it's the only public hunting land in Delaware county.

The rain shortage feels like more of a systemic issue that a few days of rain really isn't going to address. It may bring the waterways up temporarily, but without a shift in the weather pattern, we'll end right back where we are now. More people drawing on the water sources, less consistent rain patterns = a recipe for parched waterways/aquifers.

Looks like rain for most areas lingers into early Friday. It might be enough to bring levels back to seasonal averages for a few days. Could be better, but gotta start somewhere! Saturday may have an additional round in southeast areas depending on which model has the correct forecast. That's the part that could make a real difference if it actually happens.

Yeah north western pa got lots more than most of us,but hey the steelhead should move into the streams

1" in my rain gauge as of 1900. Has been raining pretty good since. The storm drains through town are still not flowing.
