Quittie Nature Park, Annville, PA 21.Nov.09

hahahahaha... Well I don't think that I'm a lot dumber than you thought that I think that I thought was me... What do you think...

If you weren't talking about me, who were you talking about... It must have been Sal...

What? Why was i even brought into this? I didnt even call you spyder on this thread  Unless you know something we already know...you know.

Nice try ;-)

I guess a leopard can't change its spots after all...

If 500 fish were stocked in that creek, they must have been having one hell of a party somewhere!!! :-D

Lets be party crashers :-D

One other thing I noticed last time is that some of the special regulation signs were ripped off the trees.

I did notice that some of them were torn in half. The posted stretch did seem to have more than its fair share of signs though. Certainly shouldn't be a secret to anyone what the regs are.

I am sure most do but my guess is that those who tore the signs probably flaunt the rules as well.

If i remember those signs get tore down each and every year.

As if it changes the regs

I have a buddy who says he catches most of the fish he gets there 100 yards or so below the downstream end of the project, so maybe it's better holding water. I don't know for sure, as I've never fished it, but that's what I've been told.

Quittie sucks...I did catch a 19" palomino out of the sp. reg. area, but the area was largely devoid of any fish. I believe I saw three other fish that day. The stream had a nice gentle flow, and was easily fished, but there was a real lack of appreciable cover/holding water. Overall, I was thoroughly unimpressed...I hit Bachman Run nearby and did much better.

People will do that! Most don't follow the rules anymore! The low paid, uneducated idiots in the commish don't rule anymore. All the rules don't make sense! Everything should be Catch & Release!!
It looks like skinny water, so a 1wt with 18's or 20's on a 7X will probably catch a few.
When you walk around with heavy tackle and big flies, you probably won't catch much!
