Quittaphillia Creek DHALO @ Quitty Park in Annville, water levels are perfect, fish are deep in tailwater of riffles. plenty of fish, and spots to fish. High sticking in the tail of riffles was quite productive, I used a #12 BH Prince with a #14-16 BH emerald caddis pupa from TCO. on 5/5 the pupa killed, taking all the days 20 fish.
5/6 I tried the same set up but the fish had moved further up into the riffles and were VERY deep. I had a 20" brown on the prince. the fish seemed disinterested so I took the emerald caddis off the hook drop of the prince and replaced it with a hot orange scud. this was very produtive until I got caught on a rock and while trying to save $5 worth of flies, I fell in and lost $200 worth of phone. oh well, at least I had a cool guy at apple hook me up and all is well.

20 fish on the Quitty...I live 5 minutes from there and the most I have taken is 15, 20 is a exceptional day! Good job. That can be a very hard stream to fish. Still trying to figure it out.

I know, I can't hardly believe it myself but they must have just stocked or something bc they're all in the tail of the riffles and they are hungry! It was a fun time!
