Fished the delayed harvest section of the Quitty for the first time on Saturday morning from about 9:30-12:30. Water was low and clear and cold (no temp taken). Air temp went from 52 to start to almost 65 degrees! There were lots of fish throughout. Fished mostly the lower section from the nature park down to the 934 bridge. Landed a couple on a prince nymph and hares ear. Had a monster take me by surprise on a hares ear that I ended up losing. Overall, was a good first try on the Quitty. Saw a few other fisherman, but generally not crowded, especially for a beautiful fall Saturday morning. Lots of good, fishable water. Can't wait to go back soon and explore some more!

Thanks for the report. I will have to check that section out since I am only 20 minutes away.

It will be a lot better if the water levels return to seasonal norms. Usually fishes pretty well through the winter.

I fish there a lot. It's 2 min from my house. I landed a 20" fish a few weeks ago. We really need a lot of rain.

We need more than a lot of rain. It doesn't look like it is coming any time soon unfortunately.

I fished it yesterday and got ten. All in certain spots. I've never seen the creek this low.
