I don't think Class A streams would get much more attention than they already do. Many of the Class A streams are more difficult to access than most stocked trout streams. Most truck chasers prefer the easy button. 😉

What's the definition of "marginal" water?
At least down here in Lancaster county, just about everything stocked streams would qualify as marginal water. Most get too warm for trout to survive through the summer so it is just stock and harvest before they die

That's exactly where I want stockies dumped. Doesn't hurt any of the pretty fish.
IMO marginal water is where you may catch a juvenile wild fish once in a while, not every time out. My point is if these waters were not stocked at all, all that was in them was the rarely caught wild trout, the LARGE well known Class A water would be overrun because even the fly only guys would not be dispersed. I'm not a blue liner and none of my friends are true blue liners.
I wish they would stock more smaller fish as the hatcheries have a total load number of lbs each could raise. Might as well produce the most you can let's see how or if the new wild trout waters become class A.
