We got over an inch of rain overnight which made pretty much every local creek chocolate and running at blazing speeds. Fortunately, I have always fished streamers well in these conditions. I fished the Po headwaters yesterday in the town of Brodheadsville. As you can see from the picture below, it was dirty and full of floating debris but the fishing was fantastic. Every slow eddy was loaded with browns eager to chase a streamer. I couldn't see my streamer 6" below the water but somehow the fish could find it. Water temp was in the high 30's but the fish were chasing like it was in the 50's. I fished from only 1-2 pm but managed to land around 4 and missed about 10 others. The blurry picture below was the average size brown but some of the ones I missed looked around that 15" mark. Great warm day to be streamside for an hour and the fishing exceeded what I expected given the stream condition.

Very nice!

Trout are notorious for short-striking streamers, and missed fish are the rule rather than the exception. Try tying or buying trout streamers with a stinger hook attached to hook and land more fish.

Uh huh. Spot-on.
