Got out finally locally,Pohopoco was 54*f running clear, started fishing @ 7:00 pm not much was happening.Every once in a while a mayfly would pop off but definitely no hatch, also saw several different caddis,Black #16, medium dun winged #16,and tan#18 sporadically coming off.
Small browns were working the emergers every once in a while they would leap out of the water an catch one too.No stonefly activity.
I caught one, missed one,no appreciable size or color. Was definitely not hatchery stock fins were perfect an the red adipose was clearly evident.
Watched a Kingfisher fishing .
Just great to get out an enjoy the water for once.
