That area is open. The ATW ends at Cherry Lane as specified in the regs. Don't get too close to the bridge....

Ah, I see. I guess I was confused about the legal space between ATWs and actual Special Regs areas (i.e. non-special regulation, non-ATW sections of streams with ATW sections... Jesus.).

Yes, it is not easy. If the Brodhead in Monroe County was listed with no limits on the ATW, then the whole thing would beATW. Not the case here yet. I think that section is going to become a DHALO despite protests to make it a FFO. I am on the fence. The rainbow fingerlings thrive in the mile long riffle below the bridge, and they are a blast, but there are some big browns in there too.

Thanks for this information. I hadn't heard anything about this. Seems like DHALO would be a mistake. Though I'm not sure it needs to be FFO, staying with some category of catch and release would make a lot of sense.

If it would become a DHALO, then they would stock it. If its a FFO, it should be catch and release only. In my opinion. They already have up signs about the wild trout in that section and say practice catch and release.

Not good! The last thing that section of the Brodhead needs is a PAFBC "classification" causing pelletheads to be dumped in.
